Treatment Options
Surgery may be suggested or considered a necessary step to repair thoracic or vascular damage, either through a laparoscopic (through the abdomen) or thoroscopic (through the chest) approach. Whenever possible, surgeons will use a minimally-invasive technique which provides the most benefit to the patient with reduced recovery time both in the hospital and at home.
